Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Self-Service Password Reset on your Microsoft Account

In order to improve security, we’ve enabled Multi-Factor Authentication and Self-Service Password Reset for your Microsoft account.  Please follow the instructions below to enable MFA on your account and reset your password.

Please note:  It is highly recommended that you follow the steps below on a computer or device other than your mobile phone.  During the process, a QR code will be generated which you will need to scan with your mobile phone.

STEP 1: Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Add a second layer of security for your account to confirm your identity before you are allowed to sign in to your account.

STEP 2: Change your Account Password

Change your password if your account has been compromised or you have been directed to do so by your system administrator. We recommend changing your password often.

STEP 3: Add an App Password (Optional)

If you need to send email through a legacy app or device that doesn't support a second form of authentication, you may need to create an app password. Contact your system administrator if you're unsure.
