Sign it to your Microsoft 365 account for the first time.
For better security, we’ve enabled Multi-Factor Authentication and Self-Service Password Reset for your Microsoft account. Please follow the instructions below to enable MFA on your account and reset your password.
Please Note: It is highly recommended that you follow the steps below on a computer or device other than your mobile phone. During the process, a QR code will be generated which you will need to scan with your mobile phone.
Sign in to your work or school account
1. Click on the button below to sign in to your Microsoft account. The sign in page will open in a new tab.
2. On the Sign In page, enter your email address and click Next.

3. On the following page, enter your password and click Sign in.

4. On the More information required page, click Next.

Set up your security info using the wizard
1. Next, you will need to download and install the Microsoft Authenticator App on your mobile device. Depending on your mobile device, launch either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Search for “Microsoft Authenticator” and download the app with the blue lock logo with ther person icon in the middle. Once you’ve downloaded and installed the app, click Next.

2. Launch the Microsoft Authenticator app and tap on “Add account”. Do not sign in. If you see an option to Scan a QR code, tap to select.
Depending on your mobile device or the version of the app, you may need to tap on the 3 dot menu and select “Add account” or tap the “+” button. For account type, choose “Work or school account” or “Other”. Click Next in your browser window to generate a QR code that you will need to scan in the next step.

3. After selecting “Work or school account” or “Other” from the previous step, your mobile device should automatically launch your camera. Hold up your camera to the QR code on your browser window to scan. After the QR code is scanned, you should now see the new account added to the list in the Microsoft Authenticator App on your mobile device. Click Next.

4. Once you click Next on the previous screen, a notification will be sent to your mobile device asking to “Approve sign-in?” Tap on “Approve” on your mobile device.

5. Once you’ve approve the notification on your phone, the web page on your computer will update with a message that says, “Notification approved”. Click Next to continue.

6. Success! You have successfully enabled Multi-Factor Authentication through the Microsoft Authenticator app. This page will show you all the devices you’ve set up for MFA. Click Done to continue.

7. You will now be redirected to a page where you will need to choose a permanent password. Enter the temporary password that you were assigned by your system administrator, then type in your new password and type it in one more time to confirm.
Password Tips: Make sure to choose a strong password that does not contain common dictionary terms. Your new password should contain a minimum of 10 characters and include at least one of each the following – an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number and special character.

8. Congratulations! You have successfully set up your Microsoft 365 account. You will now be redirected to the Microsoft 365 portal.
